Episode 5 Step-By-Step
1. The Snatch: The snatch is an exercise that’s equally for both your strength and cardio goals, so it’s important to do it right. If you are going to rest, make sure you rest at the top with that elbow locked.
2. The Press: Technique is the name of the game here. Slow on the way up, slow on the way down. Take your time with that kettlebell and you’ll feel the results fast.
3. The Squat: When you’re coming down on this exercise, keep your back in mind. Notice how Delaine’s spine is straight, that’s how you want it to be. The better your back is the better you’ll be able to explode out of that squat.
4. Burpee Deadlift: Talk about a cardio workout. Make sure to get the full extension out of your legs when you go to the ground position: back straight and butt down. Want to kick it up a notch? Try adding a couple of Mountain Climbers into the ground position before you come back up.
5. The Russian Twist: Another position where posture is key. You should really be putting your abdominals to work if you’ve got your back straight and your feet off the ground. It’s tough, but keep it up! Blast through this and call it a job well done.
